1. What we collect

• Uploaded source documents and generated translation outputs.
• Job metadata, such as languages, page count, status, timestamps, and support or revision messages.
• Payment metadata from Stripe, such as checkout status and payment identifiers.
• Technical data needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to create translated PDFs, process payments, send transactional email, provide support, protect the service, investigate failures, and improve reliability.

3. Service providers

We use service providers to operate TranslateThatDoc, including hosting, database, file storage, payment, email, authentication, document processing, and AI model providers. We share information with those providers only as needed to provide and support the service.

4. Sensitive documents

Official documents can contain sensitive personal information. Upload only documents that you are authorized to submit. We limit access to operational needs and use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security.

5. Deletion

The app includes controls to delete a document record and related active source and output files. Some residual copies may remain for a limited time in backups, provider logs, payment records, or records we reasonably need for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.

6. AI processing

We may send document content, extracted text, layout information, and quality-check context to AI model providers so the service can translate and reconstruct documents. Do not upload documents if you are not comfortable with this processing.

7. Children

TranslateThatDoc is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.
